On March 25th, Conference participants will have the opportunity to visit AEIPS’ various innovative projects, subject to prior registration:
– Supported Employment
Individualised professional placement for people with experience of mental illness into companies in the competitive labour market.
– Housing First
Support for people experiencing homelessness and mental health problems in accessing permanent housing integrated into the community, providing support services in the housing context and in the community.
– Independent Living
Support services in housing and community settings to prevent institutionalisation and promote independent living and social inclusion for people with an experience of mental illness.
– Supported Education
Support for people with an experience of mental illness who want to return to school, at any level, in normal school contexts. Student’s narratives.
– Socio-Occupational Forum
Diverse set of services, activities and individual projects in various community contexts with a focus on the empowerment and social participation of people with experience of mental illness.
– Lidera tu – National Association of People with Experience of Mental Illness
Exclusively run by peers, its mission is to promote human rights and convey the message of Recovery and hope to all people experiencing mental health challenges and/or crises.
The visits will start at 10am and 2pm and last approximately two hours. You can choose which of the projects you want to visit when you enrol.
The transportation to visit the projects are carried out by participants’ own means.
